Do I remember?

Thinking about the way I copped with my life when I was a child. There was pain. Think that a child is a child until he becomes a man! When is that... I do not know.am I yet a man?

I remember nothing of my childhood, I have pictures but do not recognize the person in them.

Nothing is there before the age of 12 or 13

Nothing but fear.

Back to work!

Hi all,
What a long week it was and looks like the next will be the same!
For those of you that have been following my online podcasting class experiment (thanks). I think that giving something away might decrease the value, and that is why I want to thank those brave people that have stood by and watched this develop!
I will be continuing the experiment next week with some more content and some exciting castings so please stay tuned!
The link is on my site at http://itanewf.com

Best to all thanks

Beatitudes

Jesus describes those who are truly fortunate, the lucky ones of their day. But it is not emperors, conquerors, priests, and the wealthy who enjoy this favor. Rather, it is the common people, those whom earthly success has largely passed by: the poor, the meek, the persecuted, the peacemakers. How can this be? Because though they may have been denied worldly success, what cannot be taken away from them is their potential to live rightly by one another. It is all too easy for those who enjoy the pleasures of this world to try to float above such obligations. Jesus goes on to say that so long as ordinary people stand for the right things and do not retreat in their rightness before those who seem to have more power, what ’s right will prevail. It’s their kingdom — a kingdom organized not from the top down, but from the bottom up. In the Beatitudes, Jesus offers a description of the community of goodwill his teaching will build in this world.

Reading What the Beatitudes Teach

This appears a great commentary on the Beatitudes. How do these fit in in with religious 12 step Programs?

What we follow! Matthew 15

In my life I have followed many but found none. For me this passage is about pride and what we chose to believe. If we follow our self and think we know what is best for us then we fall. How can I not being g'd know his plan for me. If I f follow g'd an his plan then I avoid the pit. I believe that I know better I wander blind and fall in the pit.

Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides.[d] If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Today I have started to learn to hear and with work will understand

“Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]
